Lareau's Swimming Hole
-- across Route 100 from American Flatbread. A beach
area leads into a deeper pool. On the far side is a
small ledge. The area around the swimming hole is a
flat park and is blocked from the road by a number of
small hills. Perfect for families, with plenty of
parking and toilet facilities.
Meadow Road --
Across from the 1824 House on Route 100, north of
Waitsfield.
Riverside Park
-- in Warren, located off Route 100 at the bottom of the
Sugarbush Access Road. Mostly shallow water, this
park has a parking area, a picnic table, and a rope swing.
Perfect for families.
Warren Falls --
located off Route 100 in Warren toward Granville.
Ledges of various heights all drop off into a deep pool.
For a more adventurous experience.
The Punch Bowl
-- located across from Yestermorrow. A recognized
nude swimming hole. Behind the wooden screen, there
are some picnic tables. There are a number of
moderate size pools, up to 10 feet deep.
Covered Bridge Swimming
Area -- in the town of Waitsfield. Extremely
popular among older kids, there is a deep pool located
right below the bridge. A little upstream is a more
leisurely spot. A rocky beach stretches out from the
edge. There is a strip of rocks in the middle of the
river when the river is high.
Blueberry Lake
-- Great for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. Great
for canines and humans alike.

from, and a park to relax on. N on Rte 100, continue
