For the destination wedding, we offer a great way for wedding guests to get together and enjoy each other in an informal Vermont atmosphere.

Up to 25 people - Rustic Vermont BBQ:  Enjoy a private mountaintop setting with fields, streams, and gardens...while some might just gaze at the views from our deck, others can take a hike around our many trails and back roads. Get together for real Vermont local foods with a choice of smokehouse barbeque catered by Black Diamond Barbeque, locally grown American Flatbread, or organic and vegetarian sandwiches from Sweet Pea Whole Foods.  End your day with stargazing and s'mores by our firepit.  Rates and details.

25-50 people -- Lunch in the Garden:  Surrounded by five acres of lawn and lush gardens, enjoy a lovely afternoon of catered Vermont fare.  Shaded porches allow for relaxing while miles of local walking roads allow for strolls to the Von Trapp Farm, Inn at the Round Barn or Skinner Barn.  A variety of menus include tropical specialties from Michaels, classic catering menu from We Cater Vermont, or unique local creations from Easy Street Cafe. "Outdoor Kids and Parents Vacation" (up to 12 people) -- Take another family along and have an outdoor vacation with loads of fun for kids and parents alike! Package includes lodging at the Retreat or Stony Hill Farm, an afternoon of tubing on the Mad River, a group riding trek on the world-famous Vermont Icelandic Horses, and day tickets to the Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory.  Rates and details.

"Girlfriends Getaway" (4-10 people) -- Get away with your girlfriends for a private weekend together in the country.  Package includes lodging at Stony Hill Farm, an outdoor group mani-pedi on our deck with breathtaking views, private yoga session in our gardens, and beginner rafting adventure on the Mad River.  In your off time, hike, stargaze, and take in all the Valley has to offer.  Rates and details.

"Vermont Family Reunion" (up to 24 people) -- Get the whole family together for a classic destination family reunion.  The Mad River Valley has activities for all ages.  Our package includes lodging at the Retreat (sleeps 8 -- perfect for the whole family, with on site tennis and pool), Stony Hill Farm (sleeps 12 -- beautiful private country setting perfect for families with kids), and/or Joslin Gardens Suite (sleeps 4 -- especially well suited for older family members), a catered garden barbeque, and a family photo session.  Rates and details.
